Buoy brings together six Brooklyn-based artists whose works project playfulness while signifying something larger, hidden beneath the surface. Blending reality with the imagined, each artist employs vibrant hues to construct a range of otherwordly atmospheres that give the impression of a threshold. Referencing landscapes, architecture, plants, and bodily forms, the artists in Buoy are careful to reveal only the edges of their worlds, allowing space to enter.
